Happy New Year 2015

Hello sweethearts, friends of mine.

Happy New Year 2015. I have been meaning to write since a month ago. but as always, something has to stop me from doing so. Anyways, I thought of recapitulating what has happened, and penned down my small achievements between my last entry and today :D

JOGGING, ALONE

few sundays back,  i finally managed to jog, alone, at the park, leaving R with daddy at home. it sure was liberating. it gave me some sense of freedom. it has been awhile. but i didn't jogged for long though since it was my very first, since my c-sect op in August. and it was rather cold outside. Nevertheless i intend to do it again, and try to make it a weekly thing. (ok, another item to be written in my diary, as one of my resolution)

READING

i finally managed to start and finish reading a couple of books. i haven't been reading consistently for awhile since the existence of little R, but hey, i managed to read and finish them books by end of the year. To date, one 2014 resolution was fulfilled, and that is to read more than 23 books for the year 2014 ( note : 23 because that was the number of books i read in 2013), FYI, i managed to read 27 books all in all :)

OUTING, IN THE SNOW, BY BUS

yes, i managed to do that last Tuesday (30 Dec 2014) and hell, it was not easy at all!! Seriously, strollers are not made for snow. sheesh. i mean, it was not easy to push it on 2-day old snow. with the sludge and all. taking the bus, at the bus stop in front of the apartment where the snow wasn't shoved AWAY from the pavement, i had to plough through some thick snow and get my stroller stuck on it. oh but what an experience. all the way, i was muttering under my breath of my silliness and how i regret my actions. but a number of things made my day. firstly, a man helped me carry the stroller on the bus. secondly, upon reaching the British Square, the bus driver didn't want to take my fare and he basically gave me a free ride to town. thirdly an elderly lady helped me carry the stroller out of the bus. i thought that was indeed a great excuse not to stay mad and regretful all day. so in the end, i actually loved the short outing with the stroller in the snow, by bus, despite the troubles it brought me. or perhaps, i m just weird like that. ha ha.

LOSING WEIGHT

aaahhh, this is every woman's dream. i have yet to encounter any woman in my life who has never ever thought of losing abit of their weight. ohh, wait. maybe k-lynn is one of them. she never seem to complain about her weight, coz she is SLIMMMMM all the time! hehe anyhow, i managed to shed a few kgs off, on top of shedding all my pregnancy weight. and i thought that was awesome! for the record, i weighted 87kg when i gave birth to R. and now, am almost 70kg. well almost. it is still fluctuating around that area. haha but honestly, losing weight and to be around the 60s region was one of my 2014 resolution. well not to say that i have failed completely, but at least i am almost there. when it comes to weight lost, almost there counts! ha ha. it has to count, or else no one would have any motivation to lose weight any more.

Okay, i guess that all for now then. I count begin my countdown to going home now too! 10 more months now. yeahoo!!

Happy New Year 2015 everyone! Stay sane, stay awesome, and if there was nothing wrong with you in the first place, then just stay YOU!

lotsa love,
RH
